hi yasmin. it did :*(

what's important now is to learn how it happened, why it was allowed to happen, who were responsible in making it happen, and how must they be made accountable for it.

above all else: pertahankan keluhuran perlembagaan dan kedaulatan undang-undang. pertahankan malaysia.

if he was murdered, his parents/family have the right to decide the fate of his murderer/murderers.

in an islamic state, the perpetrators will sampai ajal too. because i hear his mother wants them dead.

May he rest in peace. The truth will comes out in the end.

On another note, Pn Yasmin, I found this on youtube which reminds me of the Petronas ad. It's a short film about family (father and son) from Greece.

kak yasmin ahmad, i do not know what other ways to contact you, so i dropped a comment here, hope u dont mind.

My name is Eugene and i'm a graphic design student from msu, shah alam. In one of my assignments, i was given a task to interview (either formally or informally) a person from creative industry.

i know it's a little weird to ask from a great figure like u, but i was hoping i could inquire more about the job as copywriter from u.

if its even possible, please email me at stryfr_gene@yahoo.com

i know kak yasmin is a very busy person, but i really do hope i could inquire the informations from you. either you would rather chat abt it on msn, or meeting out in some shopping center which is not too hard to find would be up to you.

you don't need to approve this comment.. sorry for the inconvinience caused!

yours sincerely =)

shock!horror!
"th1s" n1ghtmare?

alo s1s.these nightmares are sad, sad, sadly, a rampant rea1ity in 1Malaysia.

countless deaths in (and out of..) custody.
silenced whistle blowers.

Jalil Ibrahim anyone?

it's a crying shame some1 had to fall off a building to wake some people up.

let's all fall back into our cosy 'lil lull, shall we?

Rest In Peace, Mr Teoh.
Wherever u R, u're definitely in a much better place.

Love to the Teoh family.
This sou11ess nat1on prays & mourns w1th you.

The saddest part of this is that it seems hard to believe that this incident has nothing to do with yet another politically linked scandal. At least for me.

salam all,

it is indeed a sad news...no matter what the behind-the-mass-media-story is...whatever conspiracy theory that comes out, whether the taiko's of the triad did him to cover his mouth or whether an interrogation went wrong, or he committed suicide, it is sad to learn the hollywood-ness of our nation's political scene...

just stop it and do ur work already...!!!

my 2 cents anyway...

The other day I was watching a documentary that was made about why a dolphin attacked a person, because people were perplexed as to why a kind, gentle and docile animal like the dolphin would ever attack a human being.

It's terribly sad that in the case where a fellow human being has been killed in my country, there is no need to ask such a question.

yasmin said...

diana, no one has speculated anything here, yet you are saying, "don't speculate"?

this is precisely what i cannot stand about this whole affair. some people in power are so defensive!

my mother and i were watching rtm news - a man with a moustache said at great length that we should not suspect foul play before investigation results.

my mother said, "do they think we are 2-year olds?"

I am a BN person.
But this is just so sick and too disturbing.
There is just too many "sudden death" happening in our detention.

I have always wondered what "sudden death" means?
When one dies suddenly like in a heart attack does it constitute sudden death? How about a car accident victim? Or a person who drops dead from a stroke?

Someone please explain sudden death to me.
And someone please explain what the hell is going on in this country.

Lastly condolences to the Teohs.
And let's hope the police does not classify this case as sudden dead as well.

Oh Me said...

..im just glad Yasmin watch RTM news...u the best

Condolences to the Teohs. It's really disturbing.

on a lighter note, i've just watched this very interesting animation called 'Sita Sings The Blues'(www.sitasingstheblues.com/). Do have a look if you're free :)

have a nice day!

wahdi said...

Dah takdir maybe...

yasmin said...

yes wahdi, but if this had happened to a member of your family, would you be as accepting? takdir is takdir, but in islam, if someone were murdered, his family decides the fate of his murderer.

salaam.

It's discouraging to surrender to the fact that we live in a jungle where only the fittest will survive. People got away with this kind of thing all the time, but not forever, because God has His plans.

yasmin said...

amen to that, kamal.

in today's the star, his parents were seeking help from the PM himself! good on them! god-willing, some changes are gonna come.

Kak Min..

There's sadness, outrage and anger that such incident could happen. An innocent life of a wonderful soon to be a husband and father is taken away so abruptly. What's even more outrageous, it's two days before his planned wedding!!

May the truth and justice prevails..

without a strong faith, the world is going crazy.

another sad incident, not related to this one but cruel as it is, search for Marwa Al-Sherbini.

As Shaykh Khalid Yasin said in one of his presentation, "humans, when their sense of morality becomes distorted, they do what animals don't do."

yasmin said...

that's scary but true.
